Linux preview release. OCR is on-device; optional whole-image vision metadata is disabled by default and requires explicit opt-in. Windows and macOS capture adapters remain source-only experimental work pending native-device testing and signing. Snap Store publication has not happened yet.

Screenshot transfer is now a first-class workflow.

Highlights:

  • Copy any capture as both image data and the original PNG file.
  • Drag a library card or detail preview into email, documents, chats, cloud apps, and folders.
  • Use Ctrl/Cmd+C on a focused capture.
  • Includes native Linux file-manager clipboard compatibility and copy-mode drag semantics.

  • CaptureVault_0.1.2_amd64.deb — Ubuntu/Debian installer
  • CaptureVault-0.1.2-1.x86_64.rpm — Fedora/RHEL installer
  • CaptureVault_0.1.2_amd64.AppImage — portable build
