Tabvora v2.1.0 – Local-First Workspace & Productivity Dashboard
🚀 Tabvora v2.1.0 — Official Production Release
Tabvora is a local-first workspace and new tab productivity dashboard designed for Chromium browsers. Built strictly on Manifest V3 standards with zero telemetry, zero analytics scripts, and 100% on-device data persistence.
🌟 Key Highlights in v2.1.0
- ⚡ RAM Saver (Memory Optimizer): One-click memory optimization utilizing Chrome's native
chrome.tabs.discardAPI to sleep inactive background tabs while safeguarding active media playback and pinned tabs. - 🛡️ Hardened Sensitive Field Screening: Advanced heuristic filtering for the optional Draft Recovery feature that excludes passwords, credit card inputs, tokens, PINs, and sensitive forms before local IndexedDB storage.
- 🎨 40 Curated Aesthetic Wallpapers: High-resolution offline wallpapers with dynamic real-time canvas atmospheric particle effects (Aurora Borealis, Rain on Window, Cosmic Lake, Fireflies, Starlight).
- ⏱️ Procedural Pomodoro Focus Timer: 25/5 focus cycles featuring chime notifications synthesized purely in real-time via the W3C Web Audio API (
AudioContext) with zero external audio file dependencies. - 🌿 Digital Wellbeing & Allowances: Wall-clock ergonomic break alerts (20-20-20 rule) and customizable daily website dwell-time limits.
- 🔒 Zero Host Permissions: Eliminates broad host permissions; content scripts are strictly scoped (
all_frames: false) and execute only when opt-in features are enabled.
