Permissions (v26.3.1)

For a simpler, command-by-command breakdown of which permission each command needs, see the Commands wiki page (its Permissions Reference section).

Legend

Default (from plugin.yml): true = granted to everyone by default · op = operators only · false = not granted by default - must be granted explicitly. A <number> placeholder means "replace with a real number" - e.g. shamplugin.graces.3. Nodes marked (bundled) are also granted automatically by shamplugin.admin.

Current Permissions

All permission nodes present in v26.3.0, listed in the same order as plugin.yml.

shamplugin.map true Allows usage of /map.
shamplugin.help true Allows usage of /help.
shamplugin.uptime true (bundled) Allows usage of /sham uptime.
shamplugin.streaks.notify true Allows login reward reminder messages. Set this node to false to disable reminders, even when a numeric override is granted.
shamplugin.streaks.notify.<number> false Subtracts <number> from the unclaimed-reward count shown in the login reminder - treat that many collectable rewards as unavailable so they don't trigger the message (default .0). Requires shamplugin.streaks.notify; if several groups grant different values, the largest wins.
shamplugin.streak true (bundled) Allows usage of /streak, /sham streak, /streaktop and /higheststreaktop.
shamplugin.graces false Base/namespace node for login streak grace overrides. Grant a numeric child such as shamplugin.graces.3 to override the player's maximum graces per cycle.
shamplugin.graces.<number> false Sets a player/rank's max graces per cycle (missed claim windows they can skip before losing their streak), overriding default_grace_per_cycle. Replace <number> with the amount, e.g. shamplugin.graces.3 = 3 graces; if several groups grant different values, the highest wins (except in v26.3.0).
shamplugin.streak.get.others op (bundled) Access for /sham streak get <name>.
shamplugin.debug op (bundled) Access for the /sham debug … command set.
shamplugin.admin op Admin commands. Bundles (auto-grants) streak, streak.get.others, uptime and debug.

Notes

  • shamplugin.admin is the top-level staff node. Its children: block in plugin.yml means granting it also grants:
    • shamplugin.streak: true
    • shamplugin.streak.get.others: true
    • shamplugin.uptime: true
    • shamplugin.debug: true
  • Numeric override nodes (shamplugin.streaks.notify.<number> and shamplugin.graces.<number>) are patterns, not literal nodes - you grant a concrete value such as shamplugin.graces.3. Both default to false, so they must be granted explicitly.
    • shamplugin.streaks.notify. only takes effect when shamplugin.streaks.notify is granted. shamplugin.graces.<number> does not require shamplugin.graces; the base shamplugin.graces node is informational/organizational only.
  • shamplugin.streaks.notify replaced the old login-rewards reminder node in v26.3.0 - see Removed / Deprecated Permissions below.

Removed / Deprecated Permissions

Every permission node that existed in an earlier version but is no longer present in v26.3.0. "Versions existed" gives the range of stable releases in which the node was defined; pre-release builds are listed in their matching release rather than listed separately.

The plugin rename: the plugin's permission namespace changed from kakchuplugin.* to shamplugin.* during the v26.1.0 pre-releases and shipped in stable v26.1.0. Permissions that remained supported were renamed to their shamplugin.* equivalents; permissions that had already been removed are listed separately above.

Raw plugin.yml permissions (by version)

The permissions: block from each release's plugin.yml, newest → oldest, so you can diff exactly what changed. Consecutive releases with an identical block are grouped into one range; pre-release builds are omitted here as well. Version labels below are plain text (not headers) to keep the wiki page list clean.

Version v26.3.0 - v26.3.1 (current)

shamplugin.loginrewards is removed and replaced by shamplugin.streaks.notify (+ .streaks.notify.<number>).
