The main target of this release is to address the VM HA-related issue, which is a significant fix.

• KVM HA: Fix CheckOnHostAnswer success flag when there is no heartbeat - apache#13373 - this fixes the issue apache#13371

Along with this, a few more issues/PRs are addressed in this patch release:

• PR, apache#12651 - addresses the issue with KVM IP auto-discovery not working with Windows interface names: apache#12649
• PR, apache#13423 - allow selecting network for VNF nics if template nics > 0 and is a non deploy-as-is template

Upgrade instructions

• Applicability: this patch can be applied in an environment that has Apache CloudStack 4.22.1.0 installed
• Recommended: Test the patch in your test/validation environment before upgrading to production
• Backup your production DB dump before upgrading to this patch release
• Check and upgrade any installed cloudstack packages (such as cloudstack-management, cloudstack-common, cloudstack-agent) using the above EL8, EL9, EL10, Debian and Suse repositories. On some enviroments, you may also upgrade using downloaded rpms directly using rpm or yum localinstall.
• Post upgrade, restart the upgraded services such as cloudstack-management and cloudstack-agent
