LuCI-installable SCAT for the GL.iNet Mudi 7 (GL-E5800, Quectel RG650).

scat-mudi7_1.0.0-1_aarch64_cortex-a53.ipk bundles a complete, ready-to-run SCAT — no on-device pip or compiler needed. Installs:

  • /opt/scat/lib — the SCAT bundle (SignalCAT --cell-kv fork + deps + musl/aarch64 bitarray .so + the SocketIO diag device)
  • /usr/bin/scat — launcher (scat --version, scat -t qc --socket-listen … --cell-kv, …)
  • /usr/bin/scat-diag-bridge — diag_socket_log ⇄ SCAT, emits --cell-kv for the RG650 (whose diag is owned by diag-router)

Arch: aarch64_cortex-a53 — covers the Mudi 7 / GL-E5800 and the GL.iNet XE3000 (arch-specific because of the musl bitarray .so). Depends: python3-light.

Install via LuCI

System → Software (http://<router-ip>:8080/cgi-bin/luci/admin/system/opkg) → Upload Package… → the .ipk → Install. Then scat --version, or scat-diag-bridge to capture.

Hardware-validated on a Mudi 7: opkg install extracts, scat --version runs, --cell-kv present.

Licensing: the package aggregates GPL-3.0 SignalCAT with its dependencies (bitstring/bitarray, pyserial, packaging) and CPython-vendored logging/uuid (PSF); each retains its own license.
