📖 Installation Instructions

Download the file for your platform below.

Windows:

  1. Download Accelent_Desktop_v2.2.1.zip
  2. Extract the zip to a folder of your choice
  3. Open the extracted folder and double-click Accelent.exe
  4. If Windows shows "Unknown Publisher", click "More info" → "Run Anyway"

Android:

  1. Download Accelent_v1.6.2.apk
  2. Open the downloaded file to install
  3. If prompted, allow installation from this source
  4. Enjoy the new features of Accelent!

Our installers (.zip for Windows, .apk for Android) are safe and officially distributed via GitHub.

alerts because our digital certificate is still being processed.

Accelent Desktop v2.2.1

New Features
Multi-country tax engine — support for India GST (HSN-code-based rate lookup), Pakistan GST (federal + 5 provincial tax authorities, per-province service rates), Sri Lanka VAT+SSCL (compounding tax), and Simple VAT for Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, and Maldives.
One-time country setup wizard on first launch — picks country, currency, and tax profile once; permanently locked after the first real transaction. Existing installs are automatically grandfathered in with no disruption.
New "Tax Due" panel (Admin menu) — shows the correct tax breakdown for whichever country profile is active. GST Returns / E-Invoice menu items are now hidden for non-India profiles instead of showing irrelevant options.
Maldives dual-currency (USD) support — tourism-sector sales can be billed and tracked in USD, fully separate from local-currency (MVR) books, including a separate USD Cash account, credit tracking, Aging Report, and Trial Balance section.
Purchase Panel redesign — vendor-first flow that auto-fills a vendor's usual items, barcode scan-to-add/merge with visible confirmation, and quick mid-purchase creation of a brand-new item.
Deletion Watcher can now reverse a transaction — right-click a row in Receipts → Transaction History to delete it with the balance change properly reversed and logged for review.
Added 4 new UI languages: Sinhala, Pashto, Dhivehi, Dzongkha.

Fixed

  • Fixed a data-integrity issue where Credit Customer balances could display incorrect amounts. Payments recorded in the Receipts Panel now correctly update the customer's invoice and payment records, so balances stay accurate everywhere in the app.
  • Fixed the root cause of inventory occasionally going negative when sales were created from the mobile app — stock is now properly checked before a sale is confirmed, matching desktop behavior.
  • Fixed invoice print layout: the footer text no longer overlaps ("Copyright © Accelent" and "Powered by..." now display correctly).
  • Fixed the Tax Summary on invoices to correctly include 0%-rate GST items instead of silently dropping them from the total.

Added

  • Added a delete option (right-click) for transactions in the Receipts Panel history, with full reversal and an audit trail via Deletion Watcher.
  • Account Statements are now available for Credit Customers, using the same clear, unified format already used for Parties, Banks, and Cash accounts.
  • Added a safeguard that blocks recording a receipt for more than a customer's actual outstanding balance.

Changed

  • Removed the "Add New Party" and "Add Credit Customer" buttons — these accounts are now created automatically on first transaction, removing the risk of accidentally creating duplicate accounts.

Accelent Mobile v1.6.2

Fixed

  • Fixed sale/purchase creation showing a generic "Failed — check desktop app is running" message even when the real reason was something specific, like insufficient stock. The app now shows the actual error from the server.
  • This pairs with a desktop-side fix (v2.2.1) that stops sales from being created when stock is insufficient — previously this could push inventory into negative numbers when done from mobile.
