What's New

  • Fixed: update notifications never reached installed sites. The bundled shazzad/github-plugin-updater required more than 5 of 8 metadata fields to be present before it would offer an update, which made the optional tested, requires and requires_php fields mandatory. Releases without them were silently discarded — 2.0.8 shipped in February and no site was ever notified.
  • Updated shazzad/github-plugin-updater to the release that fixes the gate, accepts - and + README list markers, and logs when release metadata cannot be resolved instead of failing silently.
  • Updated the README requirements list to * bullets so installs still running the older updater can resolve the metadata and see this release.

If you are on 2.0.4–2.0.8, this is the release that gets your site un-stuck.
