v5.5.0 — Critical Connectivity Fix

🐛 Critical Bug Fix

  • Fixed: PeerManager dead reconnection loop — App could get stuck permanently unable to reach peers after restart
    • Root cause: URLs were deleted from Firebase after connection, then never recoverable
    • Now: URLs cached locally + preserved in Firebase + re-published on every startup

🛡️ 6 Defense Layers

  1. Local URL cache (peer_urls.json) survives app restarts
  2. URLs re-published to Firebase on every startup
  3. Cached URLs tried before Firebase for instant reconnection
  4. urlRequest signals sent to correct peer paths (was wrong target)
  5. urlRequest re-sent every 60s until peers reconnect (was single-shot)
  6. URLs preserved in Firebase (encrypted, safe to keep)

⚡ Performance

  • Parallel chunked upload for CF files >256KB (4x512KB concurrent)
  • Shared HttpClient with connection pooling
  • Verbose handshake logging for diagnostics
