BugScurry v0.5.0
Screenshot compatibility: overlays stay out of screenshots and recordings unless explicitly allowed.
Added
- Settings “Show in screenshots / recordings” (default off). On macOS a
CGEventTapdetects screenshot sessions — passive with Input Monitoring alone, active with Accessibility alone — and temporarily hides every overlay; it only matches the screenshot shortcuts, passes events through, and stores nothing. On Windows the overlay requestsWDA_EXCLUDEFROMCAPTURE - Third-party picker shortcuts (WeChat
⌘⌃A, SnipasteFn+F1presets, editable in settings); recording a shortcut needs Accessibility, swallows the combo for a few seconds, then discards it ⌘⇧5toolbar sessions end automatically once the capture file is saved (the save-directory scan reads file names and mtimes only); clipboard saves still restore with Esc, and tray Show recovers a stuck session- Permission UX: explicit opt-in, a recheck delay so the one-time system alert isn't covered by our own Settings pane, manual-add steps, and stale-entry-after-update guidance
Changed
- Screenshot copy follows one-permission-per-section: Input Monitoring for hiding, Accessibility for recording
- The “open Input Monitoring settings” row hides while the compatibility status row is shown
- The compatibility action in long hints starts on its own line
