BugScurry v0.6.3

In-app updates via tauri-plugin-updater (signed GitHub Releases).

Added

• Tray “Check for updates” (CmdOrCtrl+U) opening a dedicated update dialog: app icon, version jump, download progress, install/restart/skip actions, per-release changelog on the right
• Auto-check on launch and every 24h while tray-resident; exact-version skip (manual checks bypass the skip)
• Settings update card: auto-check toggle, live status, details entry; update failure surfaces as a footnote
• CI publishes signed bundles plus latest.json (with CHANGELOG notes) on every v* tag

Changed

• Update dialog renders release notes as sanitized Markdown (headings, lists, tables, code, links; no raw HTML passthrough, non-http(s) links stay plain text); settings preview strips Markdown to plain text
• Update dialog buttons are small pills; the window shell never scrolls — only the notes pane scrolls internally

Fixed

• “What's new” no longer blanks when already up to date or the check fails: it falls back to the bundled CHANGELOG section for the current version (works offline)

Installing on macOS

The mac build is not Apple-signed or notarized, so Gatekeeper may report
“BugScurry.app is damaged” on first launch. The file is fine — clear the
download quarantine flag and open it again:

xattr -cr /Applications/BugScurry.app
