2026.48.5

This update is mostly theme-focused. It doesn't add many new features, but it brings improvements to profile decorations: you can now preview your in-game VRChat profile and see changes live. You also have better control over VRCNext's themes, since many elements have been separated so you can recolor and design them to your liking. To build a custom color theme, go to Settings > Appearance, scroll down a little, and click Theme Editor.

Themes & Appearance

• New main themes: Red Ruby and Mates.
• Theme Editor redesigned with a two-row layout to show more at once.
• New editable colors: Sidebar BG, Taskbar BG, Button Base/Hover/Active, and Badge Base, for more detailed custom themes.
• Added a taskbar size slider under Settings > Sidebar > Taskbar.
• Changed the Google Material icon weight from 400 to 300.

Profile Customization

• Customize Profile rebuilt as a two-column editor with live preview.
• Preview switches between VRCN and VRChat views. The VRChat view now follows your profile theme colors.
• VRC+ Decorations simplified: a single Enable VRC+ Decorations switch (off by default) hides everything when off and restores your saved choices when on.
• Each decoration now has separate Myself and Others toggles.

Avatars

• Avatar info tab now shows performance stats for your own avatars on PC, Android and iOS: rating, size, texture memory, geometry, dynamics, components and effects. Values are color-coded by VRChat's performance rank limits and cached locally.

Removed

• Removed VRChat.API Attribution as we do not use their API at all.

Fixes

• Context menus now use your selected font (Settings > Appearance > Fonts), including custom and installed fonts.
• Media Library uploads work again, no more "Failed to load image".
• Customize Profile no longer jumps back to the top after applying a decoration, theme, or background.
• Profile Background > Gradient now opens the VRCNext color picker with eyedropper.
• The Gradient tile shows its actual colors again.
• Added missing translations in profile editor/customizator.
• Fixed world modal outline colors not matching.
