  • Malware Scan: finds disguised programs, broken or missing signatures, Gatekeeper rejections, known adware and hidden executables.
  • Download Protection (on by default): every finished download is checked; clear threats are quarantined before you can open them.
  • Quarantine with restore and delete.
  • App Permissions, Network Monitor, Sharing & Wi-Fi and Backups pages.
  • Settings → Sidebar to hide pages you don't use; the app reopens on your last page.
  • Consistent tabs in the window toolbar on every page; redesigned Developer, Maintenance and Duplicates screens.

Install: drag MacSweep to Applications. It's ad-hoc signed, so the first launch needs right-click → Open, or xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/MacSweep.app.

Requires macOS 15 or later on Apple Silicon.
