Config

• No configuration changes required.

Operator impact

• WebRTC graceful degradation: The native wrtc module is now an optional dependency instead of a required one. On platforms where wrtc cannot be built or installed (notably macOS ARM), npm install can succeed without it.
• When wrtc is not present, WebRTC upgrade requests (SubmitWebRtcMessage / /api/upgrade/wrtc and related candidate streaming) are ignored with an error log and an empty response instead of crashing the node at startup.
• Operators who rely on the WebRTC-based metrics upgrade flow must ensure wrtc is installed on their platform; otherwise that feature is unavailable but the rest of the node runs normally.
• Install script fix: install_lightning_pub.sh no longer attempts a backup restore when no backup directory exists after a failed upgrade, avoiding spurious restore errors on fresh installs.
• Bundled install script version bumped to 0.3.2.

Migration

• No migration steps required. Upgrade as usual; no database or config updates needed.
