DEV·TV v2.0.0: Guide button and Agent Skills channel
What's new
GUIDE button. A new key next to 1× and power opens a channel guide on the TV screen. It lists every channel with the story that's on it right now. Tap a row to tune, or use ↑ ↓ and Enter. You can also press G, or tap the channel name on the screen. Esc, G or ✕ close it.
Agent Skills channel (12). New agent skills repos from the last 14 days with at least 20 stars, ranked by stars, top 10, with each repo's age shown. It merges the claude-skills and agent-skills GitHub topics and removes duplicates. Opening a story shows the repo's README, like the GitHub channel.
Good to know
- Spotlight moves from channel 12 to 13. Channels 1 to 11 are unchanged.
- Channels 11 and up have no number key. Use the arrows, the guide, or tap.
- License is now Apache-2.0 (it was MIT). It covers the source code only. The DEV·TV name and logo are not licensed, so forks should use their own name and branding. v1.0.0 and earlier remain available under MIT.
- Returning visitors get Agent Skills switched on automatically, once. If you turn it off, it stays off.
- Stories and commercial breaks pause while the guide is open.
- The topic tags are added by repo owners, so a few results may not be skills. One story is a repo, which can hold several skills.
- This release also includes the TV skins and the Spotlight submission form that were on the live page after v1.0.0.
Upgrading
Replace index.html. No config, no build step. If you redistribute DEV·TV, include LICENSE and NOTICE with it

DEV·TV v1.0.0: Spotlight, New Models and fullscreen
What's new
- New Models channel. The newest models added to OpenRouter's public catalog, with context size and price per million tokens. "Newest" means newly added to OpenRouter, not necessarily the lab's launch date.
- Community Spotlight. A channel for other people's projects, filled in by hand. An entry can link to any page: a repo, a site, a newsletter or a YouTube video. It can include an excerpt you read on the TV itself. If there are no entries, the channel says so instead of showing an error. To be featured, email devtv.developers@gmail.com with the subject "DEV·TV Spotlight".
- Fullscreen fills the screen. The TV now expands to the whole screen on desktop, and browsers without a fullscreen API get a fallback. This is the first outside contribution to DEV·TV, by @Ashish2712 (#5). Thank you!
- AI Papers is more reliable. If Hugging Face refuses the dated request, it falls back to the latest list.
The TV
12 channels: GitHub, Hacker News, DEV, Hugging Face, Releases, AI Papers, Latest Papers, CVE, HN Video, AI Video, New Models and Spotlight. One HTML file, no backend, no login, MIT.
