Copycat v1.0.2

Fixes the popup sometimes opening in the top-right corner, mostly off screen.

What's fixed

• Popup off screen: macOS could sometimes leave the popup in the top-right corner of the screen with only a sliver visible. Copycat now checks the popup whenever it appears, moves, or your displays change, and puts it back in place if it's not fully on screen.
• Diagnostics: when that correction happens, Copycat writes a short entry to copycat.log next to your history file (Settings → About → Show history file). If you see the popup jump, that file helps find the cause. It stays on your computer and is capped at 256 KB.

First launch

These builds are not signed with an Apple or Microsoft certificate yet, so the OS warns you the first time.

macOS: open the dmg and drag Copycat to Applications (replace the old version if asked). When you first open it, macOS says it can't verify the developer. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to the Copycat message. You only need to do this once. Copycat then appears in the menu bar; there's no Dock icon.

Windows: run the installer. If SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway.
