Welcome to the first official release of Award Tracker, a premium, secure, and completely local desktop application designed to aggregate, sync, and track your loyalty points, airline miles, and hotel awards all in one place.

This release includes a standalone portable version and a professional per-user Windows Setup wizard.

  • Automated Scrapers: Secure, automated scraping for major hotel and airline programs using headless browser synchronization:
    • Hotels: World of Hyatt, Hilton Honors, Marriott Bonvoy, IHG One Rewards.
    • Airlines: Delta SkyMiles, United MileagePlus, Alaska Mileage Plan, Southwest Rapid Rewards, Avianca LifeMiles, Korean Air SKYPASS, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, American Airlines AAdvantage.
  • Dynamic Manual Tracking: Add and track custom manually-managed reward accounts (e.g., Best Buy Points, Panera Rewards, Local Credit Union). Manual programs support custom naming, initials badge rendering, and simple manual balance updates.

  • Integrated with the Windows Action Center to deliver beautiful, real-time desktop toast alerts.
  • Provides clear visual status updates on:
    • Application startup.
    • Sync initialization.

  • A single, simplified background sync frequency selector supporting Never (Disabled), Every Hour, Every Day, Every 3 Days, Every Week, and Every Month.
  • Wipe or preserve notifications, set expiry badge thresholds, and manage your local database points directly from a premium settings UI.
  • Pre-packaged logo.dev token configurations ensuring beautiful, harmonic provider icons render on the dashboard out-of-the-box.

📦 Distribution Deliverables

We are distributing two package formats to suit your preferences:

1. Standalone Portable Version (awardtracker-portable.zip)

  • Zero Installation Required: Simply extract the ZIP file and run awardtracker.exe.
  • All databases, configuration profiles, and cache folders are generated inside the extracted directory, keeping it self-contained.

2. Windows Installer Version (awardtracker-setup.exe)

  • Per-User Scope: Installs to {userappdata}\AwardTracker. Runs entirely within your user context, requiring no administrator privileges or UAC prompts to install.
  • System Integration: Adds shortcuts to your Desktop and Start Menu.
  • Intelligent Process Management: Automatically terminates active awardtracker.exe processes during uninstallation to prevent file-in-use locks.
  • Selective Data Purging: The uninstaller features a premium, DPI-scaled cleanup wizard. It prompts you via a checkbox to optionally delete your local points database (awardtracker.db), browser scraping profiles, settings, logs, and custom downloaded files—or keep them safe for future updates.

🔒 Security & Privacy

  • 100% Local: Your usernames, passwords, and points history are stored strictly on your local machine in an encrypted database.
  • No Cloud Servers: Award Tracker communicates directly with the loyalty provider websites from your own IP address—no third-party servers ever touch your credentials.

🛠️ Installation Instructions

  1. Download either awardtracker-setup.exe (Recommended) or awardtracker-portable.zip from the Assets below.
  2. If using the Installer: Run awardtracker-setup.exe, proceed through the wizard, and launch Award Tracker from your Desktop shortcut.
  3. If using the Portable Version: Extract awardtracker-portable.zip to a folder of your choice and double-click awardtracker.exe.
  4. Access the application anytime via the Award Tracker icon in your Windows System Tray (bottom right).
