New Features

  • Git Diff View — Toggle a split-pane diff view (Ctrl+D) to compare your working file against the last committed version. Includes word-level highlighting for additions and deletions.
  • Hash-Based Change Detection — The editor now tracks file modifications using content hashing, providing more reliable "modified" status and save prompts.
  • Improved Status Bar — Shows only filename (not full path) with an orange ^D Diff indicator when git diff is available.

Keyboard Changes

  • Ctrl+D — Toggle diff view (new)
  • Del / Backspace — Delete annotation (was Ctrl+D)

Architecture

  • Separated ViewMode (Normal/Diff) from EditorState (Idle/Annotating/etc.) for cleaner state management.
