Gaja 0.3.1 — Elephant Focus for AI Power Users
Gaja is a local-first macOS focus utility for AI power users working across Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, and explicitly configured agents.
Highlights
- One global NOW, an ordered Focus queue, and an Important tier across source-namespaced AI-agent threads.
- Bottom-right icon-only macOS utility with hover details, a resizable organizer, menu-bar/Dock recovery, Launch at Login, light/dark appearance, Reduce Motion, and VoiceOver labels.
- Codex, opt-in Claude Code metadata, Cursor Agent, and bounded generic JSON-catalog adapters.
- Portable MCP App with GSAP/Flip interaction feedback and native resume handoff to the owning agent.
- Original seven-stroke thin-line lotus shared across SVG, SwiftUI, menu-bar, app-icon, and web surfaces.
- Owner-only metadata persistence with atomic writes and copy-only migration from earlier Priority Deck/Aadi state.
Verification
- Clean-clone gauntlet: 18/18 gates passed.
- Hosted GitHub Actions:
pluginandmacos-companionpassed on the tagged commit. - 19 unit/integration tests, 7 browser journeys, 35 repeated browser journeys, five repeated unit suites, native Swift validation, accessibility/themes/reduced-motion checks, and zero high-severity production dependency findings.
Install
Follow the source installation steps in the README. The repository includes source and deterministic build tooling.
This is a source release. It does not include a downloadable Developer ID–signed or notarized macOS binary. Locally built app bundles are ad-hoc signed; public binary distribution remains a separate release gate.
