v0.6.0
Parallelize tasks with worktrees
This release introduces automated worktree management for tasks, allowing you to run many in parallel without tasks interfering with each other in any way. This is our preferred way to use sidekick going forward.
Starting a task on a worktree
Whether to use a worktree is still an option, and when you do, can choose the base branch:
A branch will be generated with an appropriate name, with the "side/" prefix, as well as a worktree directory that is centrally managed by Sidekick.
Editor links
On the task/flow view, there are handy links from Sidekick to open VSCode and IntelliJ in the worktree directories, for when you need to help unblock the AI:
Review -> Merge Flow
There's a new review process, with a final combined diff of all the task changes, including iterating on review feedback.
