Sanctuary Redux is a fork of Shade Sanctuary meant to simplify and modernize its aesthetic direction.
Major changes:
- Simplified and modernized look.
- New, vibrant color system and options.
- Tweaks including minimal properties and compact spacing.
- Support for modern Obsidian features including Bases.
- Support for plugins such as Calendar, Vertical Tabs, Banners, Hover Editor, and more.
Sanctuary Redux is not yet published in the Obsidian Theme Repository.
To install the Shade Sanctuary theme in Obsidian MD:
- Install BRAT and open up the settings page.
- Under "Beta Themes List", click "Add Beta Theme".
- Paste and submit the repository link:
https://github.com/sie-sh/sanctuary - Enable the theme.
There's a bunch of options available in the Style Settings plugin. This allows you to select from 11 different color schemes, ranging across the entire color spectrum from red to purple. You can also adjust the intensity of your interface, whether you prefer it brighter side or quite dark. Additionally, there are a number of tweaks to improve your experience, many of which are enabled by default. Check out the menu to see more.
This theme was built to last. It comes with tweaks meant to help you make it yours, and currently includes integrations with a number of popular plugins.
