The MCP CLI proxy survives nullable inputs, reports refused tool calls with a failing exit code, and waits out long-running tools.

🐛 Fixes

  • cliProxy: a nullable input (anyOf with a null branch, e.g. NestJS nullable: true or zod .nullable()) no longer crashes the whole CLI with "Unsupported JSON Schema type" - it maps to its non-null type, and null passes through. Any other unmappable property gets a lenient flag instead of breaking every command. (28f5cab)
  • cliProxy: a tool result with isError now exits with code 1, so scripts and CI can tell a refused call from a success. (eff247e)
  • cliProxy: tool calls no longer give up at the MCP SDK's 60 s default - the new toolTimeoutMs option (default 30 min) bounds each call and resets on every progress notification. (eff247e)
