Lisu Bosa & Lisu Bosa Lolo v2.000

This is the first full release of the complete Lisu Bosa and Lisu Bosa Lolo font families. These fonts support the complete range of Unicode characters for the Lisu (Fraser) script. They include:

• Eight weights from ExtraLight to Black in both upright and italic styles (only in Lisu Bosa).
• A second font family - Lisu Bosa Lolo - in a separate package. It contains only the Light and SemiBold weights, which have been renamed to Regular and Bold to support older applications.
• A basic set of Latin glyphs mainly for compatibility and occasional use. These are intended to contrast strongly from the Lisu and are based on Source Serif.
• OpenType (TTF) fonts for desktop use and WOFF and WOFF2 versions for the web.

Both desktop and web fonts are provided in all-platforms packages on the Download page.

Lisu Bosa Test F v1.980 beta3

This release is only a beta test version. It is a work in progress and should be used only for testing. Recent changes:

• Renamed "Lt" family to "Lolo"
• Fixed space widths
• Improved font metadata
• Improved line spacing

Lisu Bosa Test E v1.950 beta2

This release is only a beta test version. It is a work in progress and should be used only for testing. Recent changes:

A major change is that there are no longer the same multiple font families as before. This is related to changes in our font production to better match what the wider industry is doing and make it easier to use the fonts on web pages.

There are now only two main font families, each in a separate package:

Lisu Bosa Test E: This is the main font family. It now contains all eight weights from ExtraLight to Black. In many Windows apps these are listed separately in font menus (Lisu Bosa Test E ExtraLight, etc.) - except for the Bold, which is accessed by choosing Regular and then hitting the B button. This is is a limitation of some Windows apps, Word in particular.

Lisu Bosa Lt Test E: This is a separate font family containing only the Light and SemiBold weights, but with them renamed to Regular and Bold. This is to accommodate some older apps that can only handle R and B.

Other changes:

• Improved spacing and added kerning
• Made bold weights bolder
• Added U+11FB0 LISU LETTER YHA
• Includes WOFF/WOFF2 versions of axis-based family
• Draft of updated documentation

Lisu Bosa Test D v1.930 beta

This release is only a beta test version. It is a work in progress and should be used only for testing. Recent changes:

• Revised name
• Full set of weights in both Upright and Italic styles

The spacing of italic weights still needs refinement, so their spacing will change slightly in the final release.

Bosa Lisu Test A v1.910

This release is only an Initial test version of the normal Regular and Italic weights. It is a work in progress and should be used only for testing.

• New design and production workflow based on fully open source toolkit
• New italic prototype for review
• Italic punctuation not fully drafted

In particular we would be interested in feedback on the style, weight, and angle of the prototype italic letters and numerals in comparison to the regular.
