Moonlight Android 12.1-260807

This release completes the current independent Android branch update.

Highlights

• Modernized the host, app, settings, file-action, and in-stream control surfaces with a Compose and Material 3 interface.
• Added native multi-finger touchpad input, local cursor coordination, and stream/window lifecycle handling for fullscreen, rotation, and freeform use.
• Unified clipboard synchronization for text, images, files, and folders. File trees remain metadata-only until the remote side explicitly pastes or pulls them.
• Added microphone uplink over the existing audio UDP path.
• Added selective configuration ZIP import/export for app settings, host connection information, and client identity.
• Release packages use full R8 optimization, code shrinking, and resource shrinking.

Installation

• Use Moonlight-Android-nonRoot-12.1-260807.apk for ordinary devices.
• Use Moonlight-Android-root-12.1-260807.apk only where the root variant is required.
• Android 6.0 (API 23) or newer is required. The ordinary package ID is com.silverpoetry.moonlight.
• The release retains the signing certificate used by v12.1-260803, so it can cover-install that version.

Enhanced clipboard, file-transfer, microphone, and touchpad capabilities require compatible peer revisions that negotiate the corresponding protocol support.

Verification

verifyLocal --rerun-tasks --no-parallel completed successfully with 351 tasks re-executed, including JVM tests, Release lint, R8/resource shrinking, four native ABIs, security and dependency checks, and the CycloneDX application SBOM. APK package IDs, versions, signatures, ABIs, and R8 mapping hashes were verified before publication. The two APK SHA-256 values are supplied in the attached checksum file.
