Why

The starter validator hard-coded generic accuracy, fairness, sector, approval, and infrastructure booleans. That created false assurance and contradicted the repository’s own disclaimer.

Changes

  • replaces the boolean checklist with a scoped release-decision configuration
  • validates gate evidence, hard-gate coherence, blockers, required actions, conditions, evidence gaps, and outcomes
  • removes generic industry-specific readiness logic and universal metric thresholds
  • adds validator unit tests and runs them in CI
  • replaces the sample with a fully fictional bounded library pilot and explicit evidence limitations
  • rewrites validation guidance and README around evidence, authority, conditions, change triggers, and publication safety

Limits

The validator checks structure and selected decision coherence. It still cannot validate evidence quality, legal applicability, safety, compliance, or real release authority.
