What's changed

Muse Code joins the built-in agents, and Codex now reports its own state.

Features

  • Muse Code, Meta's terminal agent, ships as a built-in: launch it, YOLO
    it, sandbox it and resume it like any other CLI.
    (#275)
  • Codex reports its own state through agent hooks, so ready, working,
    needs-you and done come from Codex rather than from Termic reading its
    terminal. Turn them on in Settings, Agents.
  • Codex resumes the right conversation in a main checkout. Several tasks
    in one repo root used to share whichever session ran last there; each task
    now returns to its own.

Bug fixes

  • One turn interrupts you once. A long turn could raise a desktop notification
    at every stage boundary, so an agent working for ten minutes could ring
    repeatedly. The badge still tracks each stage; only the notification is
    deduplicated. (#276)
  • Claude's needs-you notification names the tool it is blocked on ("needs your
    permission: Bash") instead of "agent needs your input".
  • The toolbar's sandbox icon now matches the sidebar, the footer and the mode
    picker for monitoring mode.
  • Settings no longer calls your Docker sandbox Dockerfile "customised" just
    because Termic shipped a new default one. It now remembers which default your
    file came from, so an untouched Dockerfile picks up new agents on its own and
    an edited one is left alone.

Heads-up

  • Your Docker sandbox Dockerfile is reset to the shipped default once, on
    first launch of this version, even if you edited it.     This release is where
    Termic starts remembering which default your file came from, and profiles
    from before it carry no such record, so there is no way to tell a real edit
    from an older Termic's copy. Save anything you want to keep before updating.
    From this release on, your edits survive.

Install

  • macOS (universal): brew install --cask simion/termic/termic, or download the .dmg below. Signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens on first launch with nothing else to do.
  • Linux (x86_64): download the .AppImage below, then chmod +x it and run. Sandbox is macOS-only; everything else works the same.
