v1.3.0
What's changed
Profiles, and several logins per agent with a switcher that moves a running task.
Features
- Profiles. A fully separate instance of Termic with its own window,
projects, tasks and settings, so work and personal can be open on two
monitors at once and neither can see the other's work. Each one carries an
accent colour (or none) and its name in the title bar, and the profiles you
had open when you quit are the ones that come back. Turning profiles off
keeps every byte: the app returns to one window and nothing is deleted.
Settings, Profiles. (#280) - Several logins per agent. Add a second Claude or Codex account, choose
which one a task runs as, and switch a task that is mid-conversation without
losing it: the switch restarts the agent, and the conversation resumes on the
other account. Termic never sees a credential. It creates an empty directory
and runs the agent's own login in it, and everything that is not the
credential (your settings, skills, commands, prompts and history) is shared
back to your main config by symlink, so a second account is a second login
and not a second setup. Works sandboxed and in Docker. Settings, Agents.
(#278) - Switch accounts by yourself, at the limit. Off by default, one checkbox
per agent in the usage popover. When the account in use passes 95% of a
rolling window, Termic moves the task to an account that has room, restarts
it and sends "continue", so a task that hits a wall at 3am is still working
at 4am. It only ever moves to an account it has seen headroom on, and it
says what it did. - What an agent has cost you. The usage popover now carries the dollars
spent on the current account since Termic launched, from Claude's own
reporting. An account with no subscription, where percentages mean nothing,
shows the figure on the footer chip itself. - Add several repositories in one sweep. The project picker scans for
checkouts and lets you tick the ones you want, instead of one dialog per
repository. - The running version is in Settings, bottom left of the rail. Click it
for the release notes.
Bug fixes
- The plan usage chip no longer sits blank with nothing to explain it. Termic
reads Claude's usage off the status line it installs, so a project or a
status line of your own that already owns that slot silently took the feed
away. The chip now names what is holding the slot and where, and offers a
prompt you can hand to the agent that owns the script.

Install
- macOS (universal):
brew install --cask simion/termic/termic, or download the.dmgbelow. Signed and notarized by Apple, so it opens on first launch with nothing else to do. - Linux (x86_64): download the
.AppImagebelow, thenchmod +xit and run. Sandbox is macOS-only; everything else works the same.
The app self-updates after install. Full install and update help: https://termic.dev
