Excelsis Helper 1.4.3-public.1

First audited product release in the standalone ExcelsisHelper repository.

Highlights

  • Recent SOLIDWORKS documents, local document search, macro launching, Work
    Logger, and local MPF analysis.
  • Read-only embedded preview and thumbnail extraction for supported SOLIDWORKS
    and DWG documents.
  • Bounded thumbnail scheduling, EcoQoS process handling, renderer/IPC
    hardening, and privacy controls for generated G-code prompts.

Audit result

  • Licensed as GPL-3.0-only; the installer explicitly presents the GPLv3
    license, and compatible third-party notices are included.
  • Exact corresponding source: 103 files, byte-for-byte verified against the
    audited build tree and the source ZIP.
  • Full and production-only npm audits: zero known vulnerabilities.
  • Complete automated test suite: passed.
  • Installer payload: 67/67 files match the audited unpacked build.
  • Gitleaks and private-preset scans: zero findings.
  • Kaspersky 21.25: zero detections in the exact installer, unpacked payload,
    expanded source, and source ZIP.

The installer, application executable, and bundled elevation helper are
unsigned, so Windows may show a SmartScreen warning. Microsoft Defender was
disabled on the build host and is not claimed as release evidence. The
installer and application were not launched during this non-interactive audit;
user installation and behavioral testing remain pending.
