@TakeOver TakeOver released this 16 Aug 20:35

HamiltonZero 0.1.1 is the first PyPI distribution.

Install it with:

python -m pip install hamiltonzero
  • Uses stock jax==0.11.0 and jaxlib==0.11.0; the JAX fork is no longer required.
  • Includes the hamiltonzero command-line interface and the vendored production KFAC implementation.
  • Keeps model weights in the public Hugging Face repository.

The stock-JAX learned-router training path was validated for five full optimizer steps on 8×H200 before release.

@TakeOver TakeOver released this 13 Aug 09:16

Initial research release with learned-router training, compiled fine-tuning, compiled evaluation, public datasets, standalone compiled inference, scientific observables, and the HamiltonZero v1 foundation checkpoint.

Updated 14 August 2026:

  • restored production explicit multi-device shard-map, JIT, placement, and donation boundaries across learned-router training, compiled fine-tuning, and contest/singular evaluation;
  • added model-only checkpoint warm starts for learned-router training;
  • isolated staged optimizer caches per optimizer instance.
