When modifying the custom EMC values, the file that contains the pregenerated values always takes precedence, which means that in order for the new custom EMC values to take effect the pregenerated_emc.json has to be deleted before running the command.
This isn't an issue really, it is actually useful since it allows registration of multiple EMC values at once without having to wait for the mapping to finish every time. It's just something not very obvious that I wanted to share.
Maybe the command should be added to invalidate the pregenerated_emc.json file and generate all of the values again? Like projecte_generateEMC.
projecte_reloadEMC command just loads the pregenerated values.
