The first stable release. The API is what 0.0.4 shipped, except that the SwiftUI trait no longer brings Combine with it, and from here a breaking change means a major version.
Changed
- The
SwiftUItrait no longer enables theCombinetrait. AUserDefaultStoragenow hears of a change from the observation underneathpublisherrather than frompublisheritself, so nothing in it needs that target — and it no longer reads and decodes the value on every change only to refresh a view that reads it again. A consumer that enablesSwiftUIalone and usespublisherhas to enableCombineas well; the default set already has both. - The package now requires swift-property-list 1.0.0 or later, up from 0.1.0. That is its first stable release, and the one where, on Apple platforms, a stored object is told apart once by its CoreFoundation type ID rather than by a ladder of casts — which every read here goes through. With it comes swift-core-foundation-kit, which a consumer now sees resolving alongside the other two; it is built on Apple platforms alone. The public surface is unchanged.
- The package now enables only the
Mutextrait of swift-synchronization-kit, where it enabledMutexandRWLock. An observation has one handler now, given when it is made, and aMutexguards it — so the reader-writer lock and the atomics under it are no longer part of a consumer's build. The required version is still 1.1.2 or later, and the public surface is unchanged.
