v1.2 – 2025‑05‑02

  • Add checkversion command to verify the declared version matches the Git tag.
  • Add pre‑publish version check and roll_release task for PyPI releases.
  • Add task to build and publish pre-built binary wheels.
  • Add task to build and publish raw distfile on GitHub.
  • Enforce -march=x86-64 (instead of -march=native) to ensure manylinux compatibility.
  • Fix .gitignore so it no longer ignores all build directories at every level.
