CobbleCompanion: Create/Let's Do – Wiki (English)

This page explains how Create automation gets connected to Let's Do: Farm & Charm. For a quick reference see the README.

The short answer: there's nothing to set up

This mod has no commands, no keybinds, no settings. It runs entirely in the background and makes Farm & Charm's blocks automatable, something they can't do on their own at all.

How to actually use it

1. Build a stove, cooking pot, roaster, silo, or chicken coop from "Let's Do: Farm & Charm" as usual.

2. Place a Create chute or funnel (or even a plain vanilla hopper) on the side of the block where you want items to go in or out — exactly like you would for any other automatable block.

3. Done. No window opens, there's no confirmation — the automation just works.

What exactly is automated

  • Stove: fill ingredients from the top, fuel from the back, take the finished dish from the bottom, sides automatically sort out anything that's neither a valid ingredient nor fuel (prevents an automation from sucking away active ingredients before they've finished cooking).
  • Cooking pot and roaster: can also be automatically fed and emptied.
  • Chicken coop: collected eggs can be automatically hauled away.
  • Silo (wood and copper): can be automatically filled and emptied like a normal storage container.

Why isn't it working for me?

If an automation isn't reacting, check first:

  • Is Create actually installed? (Not needed for plain vanilla hoppers, those work without Create too.)
  • Is the chute/funnel/hopper really placed directly on the block's inventory side (not just next to it)?
  • For the stove: ingredients that might still be needed for a recipe are deliberately NOT removed from the sides — that's not a bug, it prevents half-finished dishes from being torn apart.
