@github-actions github-actions released this 25 Aug 15:29

Prebuilt SIRIUS releases for all supported platforms.

Package names are made up as follows: <App Name>-<Version>-<Operating System>-<Flavor>.<PackageType>. Package types are either generic (portable) .zip archives or operating system specific installers (e.g. .pkg or .msi). The flavors describe builds with different features:

  • no Flavor suffix represents for the standard SIRIUS package that contains the Graphical User Interface (GUI), the background service and the Command Line Tool (CLI)

Note

Existing projects are upgraded the first time you open them Opening a project created with an earlier version converts it once, so SIRIUS can build its new search index. On large projects this can take a few minutes; progress is shown while it runs. Interrupting it does no harm — the conversion simply starts again the next time you open the project.

You only pay this once. After the upgrade, opening a project and working with the feature list is considerably faster than in previous versions: filtering, sorting and searching are answered from the index instead of being computed each time.

Upgraded projects stay compatible with earlier SIRIUS releases. The conversion only adds information, so you can still open and edit your projects with a previous version.

Changelog describing the new index can be found here.

See the online documentation for details.
