Standalone binary

Starting with this release, gith is also distributed as a standalone binary for Linux, macOS (Apple Silicon), and Windows — no Node.js installation required.

Download the binary for your platform from the assets below, make it executable if needed, and place it somewhere in your PATH:

# Linux / macOS
chmod +x gith-<platform>
mv gith-<platform> /usr/local/bin/gith

macOS users: if Gatekeeper blocks the binary on first run, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
