The connector now judges Skales on a phone as well as on a computer. A phone names itself as mobile-2.9.x, and the plugin used to answer "unknown" to that because it only knew how to read a desktop number. Each platform is compared against its own minimum (Desktop 12.7.2, Mobile 2.7.3), /connect reports requires_mobile next to requires_desktop, and client names the platform it judged. Nothing is ever blocked on that basis.
Abilities carry the public flag WordPress 7.1 introduced, next to show_in_rest for 6.9 and 7.0. Tested up to WordPress 7.1. No route changed, your token is kept.
This release also carries everything from 2.1.0, which never had a release here: Elementor pages pass through the same HTML filter as every other write path, custom CSS requires edit_css, global styles are validated through WordPress' theme.json handling, the token is no longer kept in plain text beyond one hour, and the handshake answers connector_version, api_level and the oldest builds that can drive it.
Install: upload skales-connector.zip under Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin. Upgrading keeps your token.
