Installing the Cove Extensions

Cove Extensions

Cove has 4 extensions (and one shared dependency) that easily allow you to interact with the AI server:

Extension	Purpose
AI Tagging	Used for AI tagging of Videos and Images as well as creating of Segments for time-based tagging in Videos
AI Visual	Used for finding similar Videos or Images, searching for Videos or Images by words or phrases, and for recommenders
AI Audio	Used for finding similar Videos or Images by audio and for recommenders
AI Faces	Used for facial recognition to be able to identify who is in Videos and Images as well as when and where
AI Core	Used under the hood by all of the above extensions to easily be able to communicate with the AI server. Will be installed automatically

Installation

To install any of these extensions, simply go to Settings->Extensions->Discover and install them from the list of extensions. Once installed, follow the instructions in the in-app manual for setup and how to use the extensions (in-app manual accessible from the ? in the top right)

Switching loaded models

Once any of the above AI extensions are installed, you can load or unload models to be used for those extensions easily on the AI settings page at Settings->Extensions->AI.
