Releases: skill-cli/cli

v0.3.1

Choose a tag to compare

@showxu showxu released this 19 Oct 18:44
v0.3.1
0e9db67

Built on agents-tools/core 0.1.1.

Fixed

  • Sources accept typed selectors again, as in
    skill add larksuite/cli@from:1.0.0@skill:lark-base: @branch:, @ref:,
    @revision:, @exact:, @from:, @minor:, @path:, and @skill:.
  • Adding a source whose last path component another source already uses, such
    as a second …/skills repository, declares it under a prefixed alias like
    anthropics-skills instead of failing.

v0.3.0

@showxu showxu released this 19 Oct 14:26
v0.3.0
bce2033

Added

  • Watch subscriptions with status, file diffs, and explicit acknowledgement
    through skill watch add, watch diff, and watch seen.
  • Unified file diffs for update previews, with readable summaries and paths.

Changed

  • Rebuilt the CLI on shared agents core with agents.json declarations and
    agents.resolved locks in project .agent/ or user ~/.agents/. Skill names
    are positional arguments; updates preview changes before --apply writes.
    Existing 0.2 state is not read, and 0.2 installations are never replaced:
    move or remove them, then add sources and watch subscriptions again.
    See upgrading from 0.2.

Removed

  • The 0.2 watch ledger and review commands; watch now uses subscriptions.

Fixed

  • Git failures now include concise diagnostics and recovery guidance.
  • Adding or installing a skill never replaces a directory, file, or link that
    the scope's lock does not manage, such as a hand-written skill.

skill-cli 0.2.2

Choose a tag to compare

@showxu showxu released this 17 Oct 19:21
v0.2.2
d02e3ea

Fixes since 0.2.1:

  • Commands refuse to read or modify a resolved file that cannot be decoded. They fail before changing installed files, skill list reports the error, and skill doctor reports it with a repair hint. (#12, fixes #5)
  • Stable version ranges no longer select prereleases. --from, --up-to-next-minor-from and explicit ranges admit a prerelease only when a bound is itself a prerelease of the same version. (#11, fixes #6)

skill-cli 0.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@showxu showxu released this 13 Oct 08:53

Fixes since 0.2.0:

  • Remove managed installation records even when installed files or local edit sources are missing. Positional names, --skill, and --all work in project and user scopes. (9dd6a1c, #2)
  • Hash symlinked skill directories by their target contents, preventing false copy-drift reports. (9dd6a1c)
  • Recognize managed skills in shared agent directories and include their health checks for each selected reader. Continue reporting separate unmanaged directories even when their skill names match managed installations. (9dd6a1c, 0f6c05b)
  • Preserve prerelease and build identifiers in exact version pins, select the matching tag, and use SemVer prerelease ordering for version ranges. (#2, e0ea185)

v0.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@showxu showxu released this 04 Jul 12:29

What's Changed

  • Add editable local install mode with skill add <local-source> --mode edit.
  • Keep edit installs as canonical live symlinks to local source skills, with agent projections linked through the canonical entry.
  • Add skill doctor diagnostics for resolved state, missing installs, broken links, copy drift, source-missing edit installs, fallback copies, and installed-only skills.
  • Surface install materialization/status details in list output and JSON.
  • Document install modes and local development guidance for editable skills.

Validation

  • swift test
  • swift build -c release
  • .build/release/skill --version -> 0.2.0
  • CLI help and unknown-command smoke checks

skill-cli 0.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@showxu showxu released this 04 Jun 04:06

skill-cli 0.1.0

Initial production release of the Swift-native skill CLI.

Highlights

  • Provides the singular skill executable, plus the Swift-prefixed swift-skill executable.
  • Bundles a skill-cli companion skill that teaches agents to use the skill CLI for skill lifecycle management.
  • Installs and restores pinned project or user skills with skill install from skills.resolved state.
  • Separates resolved state, source checkout cache, canonical installed copies, and agent projections.
  • Uses .agents/skills as the canonical universal skill surface for Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and OpenCode, with native projections for Claude Code.
  • Uses skill add <source> to add or update selected-scope skill dependencies and refresh resolved state.
  • Supports SwiftPM-inspired source requirements such as --branch, --revision, --exact, and --from.
  • Checks out fetched remote branch heads for branch requirements so stale local cache branches do not mask upstream changes.
  • skill list reports managed skills by default; skill list --all scans unmanaged filesystem installs.
  • skill list --skill <name> filters both managed and --all installed lists.
  • Keeps managed watch state in .agent/skills-state.json and keeps watch head refresh internal; no public sync command is exposed.
  • Keeps unsupported discovery routes out of the production CLI. Future hosted source-index discovery is tracked as a proposal without reserving a command name.

Validation

  • python3 /Users/xudongxu/.agents/skills/skill-creator/scripts/validate_skill_package.py skills/skill-cli
  • skill list . --path skills/skill-cli --json
  • swift-format lint --configuration .swift-format --recursive Package.swift Sources Tests
  • swift test (89 tests)
  • swift build -c release --product skill
  • Release CLI smoke for --version, command help, and unknown command boundary.
  • brew audit --formula --strict --online skill-cli/tap/skill-cli
  • brew test skill-cli/tap/skill-cli
