Grounding v0.6.0

Gates distracting sites (YouTube, Reddit, Instagram, X, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook) behind a calm, free-form brain dump instead of a productivity test. Type what's on your mind, watch it dissolve, unlock at 50 characters.

Install

Option A — drag-and-drop the .crx

  1. Download grounded-v0.6.0.crx below.
  2. Go to chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode (top right).
  3. Drag the .crx file onto the page and confirm Add extension.

Option B — load unpacked from the .zip

  1. Download grounded-v0.6.0.zip below and unzip it.
  2. Go to chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode.
  3. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped grounded-v0.6.0 folder.

The extension is on by default — click the toolbar icon to toggle it off/on.

  • Roboto Mono bundled inside the extension (Latin, Latin Extended, Cyrillic)
