OKF v0.2.5 — MCP and skill workflows
Changes
- Expand the MCP server workflows and documentation around 13 tools, including bounded reads, actionable errors, mutation previews, and safe apply/recovery behavior.
- Ship three separately packaged agent skills:
open-knowledge-formatfor authoring, reading, validation and migration;okf-maintainfor repository knowledge upkeep; andokf-backfillfor draft reconstruction from Git history. Package and dependency checks run in CI. Host-side skill activation has not been verified and is not claimed here. - Publish matching English and Russian quickstarts and the offline knowledge viewer at https://skosovsky.github.io/okf/demo/knowledge.html. The viewer is generated from the public
knowledge/bundle, uses pinned public source links, and is checked byte-for-byte in CI. - Mark backfill evidence as truncated when omitted diff bytes prevent a complete reading. Validation continues to check document conformance, not the truth of its claims.
The OKF document contract remains okf_version: "0.2". The repository/Go module tag and plugin package versions are separate from the document version. No Codex CLI model-behavior claims are included in this release.
Verification and traceability
- Work and independent reviews: PR #8; no separate GitHub issue was opened for this release.
- Main commit:
8e822ea; annotated tag:v0.2.5. - Main CI, GitHub Action integration, and tag CI cover the Go, platform, module, skill-package, and viewer checks.
- Pages was built from
main/docs; the English quickstart, Russian quickstart, and viewer returned HTTP 200. Viewer search, concept navigation, direct hash loading, and reload were checked in the hosted browser. Search generated no additional network requests. - No required follow-up is known. Skill behavior inside a connected host remains unverified.
