v1.3.0

Choose a tag to compare

@skrumpy-demoscene skrumpy-demoscene released this 21 Aug 17:26

After saying that v1.2.2 was probably the final release, I decided to try a few more optimisations, tidy up the code and make it easier to include / exclude some features when compiling, depending on your needs.

I have included several TAP images in this release for your convenience;

  • full - all features included, coming to a total of 585 bytes
  • fd00 / c000 / 8000 / 6000 - non-relocatable versions that load to various points in memory, 506 bytes each
  • lite - relocatable but with the find routines, 510 bytes (so can't quite fit in to pages $fd and $fe)

This will probably be the last release. Again.

v1.2.2

Move the relocate code to the beginning of the program so that it doesn't need to be run separately. The initial CALL is then rewritten to a JR so that you can continue using that address for subsequent calls.

Bug fixes aside, this should be the final release.

v1.2.1

Minor tweak to save four bytes, and I'm including the BASIC loader in the tap file from now on for convenience.

v1.2.0

FEATURE COMPLETE :-)

Does everything it set out to, is completely relocatable within RAM (you need to run the relocate routine first) and is exactly 512 bytes.

Please note the relocate routine won't work from 128 BASIC if you use PRINT USR - use RANDOMIZE USR instead.

v1.1.0

Loads of tweaks and optimisations - I've crammed in some new features and found a load more space.

I also added a readme!

v1.0.0

@skrumpy-demoscene skrumpy-demoscene released this 14 Aug 19:23

Very first release. Contains all the functionality I wanted, and fits in to under 512 bytes. There's still optimisation to be done.

Loads at #fd00 (64768) but you can recompile it to go anywhere you need to fit it.

If running from 48k mode you must run PRINT #2 : RANDOMIZE USR 64768 or you will get a weird scrolling effect.
