Free web search for DeepSeek Harness (DSH) — no search API, no API key.

Highlights

  • Bing's public result page first, its RSS view second, and a local Chrome/Edge headless render as the last fallback.
  • Per-session composer toggle: Web off / Smart / Always.
  • Sidebar search panel with engine status and result links.
  • Works in dsh web and in the Desktop shell (dsh-app://).

Install

Install the tagged source directly with the Plugins page or the plugin_manager tool:

github:skyhome000/dsh-free-web#v1.1.3

For example: plugin_manager install_bundle target: github:skyhome000/dsh-free-web#v1.1.3.

Or clone the repository and install its directory:

git clone https://github.com/skyhome000/dsh-free-web.git

Then install /absolute/path/to/dsh-free-web from the Plugins page.

Refresh the DSH window once after installing (or after replacing an existing install).

If the plugin was previously installed from a local directory on Windows, remove that bundle first, then install the GitHub source.

Requirements: DSH 0.2.1-rc.3+, Node.js 20+, Chrome or Edge optional.
