Finding and Playing a Game

Games that are either finished, open for play testing, or available for parents to try will be made available in the dist* folder of the wwif repository as standalone apps. I.e., you will be able to download those games and play them without needing to download or install any other supporting software.

*"dist" stands for distribution and the folder bearing that name will contain games that are ready for distribution.

Download Instructions

You can download a game by doing the following:

  1. Go to http://github.com/
  2. Click on the "Sign In" link.
  3. Sign in with your child's account credentials.
  4. Find the "sleepinghungry/wwif" link on the right hand side of the home page, under the "Repositories you contribute to" section. You may need to scroll down a little bit to see it.
  5. Click on the "dist" folder link.
  6. Click on the game that you want to download.
(Games ending in .exe will be playable on Windows 64-bit computers.)
(Games without an ending will be playable on Mac computers.)
  7. Click on the "Download" button.
  8. Once downloaded, you can double click on the game to play it.

Enjoy!
