Initial public Sliver GUI release with automatic updates from this repository's stable releases.

For automatic updates, install the macOS universal DMG, Windows x64 -setup.exe, or Linux x64 AppImage. The Windows portable executable and Linux DEB are manual-update packages.

macOS and Windows packages use persistent self-signed code-signing certificates. On macOS, approve the initial launch in Privacy & Security if prompted, then choose Check for Updates to review and trust the bundled certificate. Self-signing does not provide Apple notarization. Windows users must establish trust for the reviewed publisher certificate; SmartScreen may still prompt.

See the installation and certificate-trust instructions for v0.0.1. Public certificate fingerprints are in the versioned signing manifest. Linux updates use the public HTTPS feed and checksum metadata.

Public updater verification passed: installed signed 0.0.0 baselines updated to these unchanged v0.0.1 assets through the anonymous public feed on macOS ARM64 (universal app), Windows x64, and Linux x64. CI pre-establishes certificate trust on disposable runners. On macOS, the native restart process was observed, and version, UI, and retained-profile checks passed on a subsequent controlled launch. First-launch Gatekeeper approval and interactive certificate authorization still require a clean-Mac manual check.
