Weather App

A modern React + TypeScript weather dashboard that shows current weather conditions for any city, powered by WeatherAPI. This is a simple weather I make just to practice my front end dev skill. Feel free to add suggestions or critics.

Getting Started

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/slizer432/weather-app.git cd weather-app

2. Install dependencies

npm install

3. Configure environment variables

Create a .env file in the project root and add:

VITE_API_KEY=your_weatherapi_key_here

You can get an API key from: https://www.weatherapi.com/

4. Run the development server

npm run dev

App will start on your local Vite server (usually http://localhost:5173).

Available Scripts

  • npm run dev: Start development server
  • npm run build: Build for production
  • npm run preview: Preview production build locally
  • npm run lint: Run ESLint checks
