cli-1.0.1
watch behaves well when something is wrong. If you keep watch running, please update — run the install command again.
- Never asks faster while the service is unavailable. One retry at a time, at most once a minute, and no sooner than the service asks. (1.0.0 could start a new retry chain every minute.)
- Stops when this machine was removed from your account, says why, and exits with code 0 so a launch agent or systemd unit doesn't restart it. Pair again (
dropit pair <code>), then startwatchagain. - Catches up whenever it reconnects — after sleep or a network change — and doesn't miss an item that arrives while it's pulling.
- Says so when the account's real-time connections are full, and tries again by itself in about 15 minutes.
- Follows
dropit pair <code>run in another terminal whilewatchis running. - Request timeouts; a network sign-in page is no longer mistaken for a successful send.
- File names: no control characters, long names cut to fit Linux limits while keeping the extension.
curl -fsSL https://dropit.smart-kits.xyz/install.sh | sh, or put dropit on your PATH (Node.js 18+).
