  • Add a device, from the extension. A browser where you created your dropit account now shows + Add a device: a pairing code and QR code, valid for 5 minutes. Scan it with your phone or type it into Obsidian; the popup closes it by itself and names the device that joined. Right after creating an account, the popup opens straight to it.
  • When every device slot is in use, pick which device the new one replaces.
  • A browser that joined with a pairing code stays send-only and doesn't show it.

Chrome / Edge: unzip dropit-extension.zip, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, Load unpacked. dropit-extension-store.zip is the same extension packed for the stores.
