  • Add YAML validation while preserving the structured backend API format.

Upgrade notes

  • Refresh the admin page after updating.
  • Backend 1.0.86 stores metadata configuration layers as YAML. Existing JSON layer files require operator-managed conversion before that backend update.
  • Document .metadata.json sidecars remain unchanged.
