@smichalczyk smichalczyk released this 03 Aug 16:20

First public release.

Framewrk keeps Aura and Nixplay digital photo frames filled from a self-hosted
PhotoPrism library. It picks the photos that match your rules, sends each frame
the size and shape that suits its screen, remembers what it has already sent so
nothing is uploaded twice, and takes photos back off a frame when they stop
qualifying.

  • One container, one volume, no configuration file. Everything is set up in the
web console, including the connections to PhotoPrism, Aura and Nixplay.
  • The wall shows every frame with the photo currently on it, 30 days of
    activity, and recent runs.
  • Frames are modelled as the physical screens they are. Nixplay puts an
album in between, and the console says which album feeds which frame, what
else that frame plays, and lets you change where a frame's photos land
    without re-uploading anything.
  • Each frame can draw from its own slice of the library, or inherit the
    household rule.
  • Removing a frame asks what should happen to the photos already on it.
  • Sign-in with a forced first-run password change, a login throttle, CSRF, and
a reverse-proxy mode that is off until you say otherwise.
  • Runs on amd64 and arm64.
