The initial open-source release of ToolXStack — a 100% offline, privacy-first developer utility and calculator suite for Android.

Added

• Privacy & Security Core:

  • Zero network permissions (android.permission.INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE stripped from release APK).
  • Completely local execution with zero analytics, no telemetry, no tracking SDKs, and no advertisements.
  • Cryptographically secure RNG (expo-crypto / Web Crypto) with rejection sampling for passwords, tokens, and UUID v4 generation.
  • Safe Regex Engine (safeRegex.ts) protecting against catastrophic backtracking (ReDoS).
  • React Error Boundary wrapping the navigation tree to prevent tool runtime errors from crashing the app.

  • Expo SDK 57, React Native 0.86 and React 19.2 (New Architecture), React Navigation 7.
  • TypeScript 6 with strict type checking; Jest 30 unit test suite covering engines, navigation routing, search and the privacy policy.
  • Builds entirely locally with Gradle — no Expo account or EAS required.

• Project Maintenance:

  • Quarterly read-only dependency report, delivered as a GitHub issue. It never opens pull requests or changes dependencies.
