DTail v4.2.0 Release Notes
This release enhances DTail's security posture and improves the overall user experience with better documentation organization and configuration options.
Security Enhancements
SSH Configuration Hardening
- Added support for configuring allowed SSH key exchange algorithms, cipher algorithms, and MAC (Message Authentication Code) algorithms
- Server administrators can now restrict which cryptographic algorithms are permitted for SSH connections, improving security compliance
- New configuration options:
KeyExchanges,Ciphers, andMACsin the server config

Better Project Organization
- Moved example configuration files from
samples/toexamples/directory for clearer naming - Updated all documentation to reference the new example file locations
